30 Mar CKA Client Update
As we are all aware COVID-19 is in the spotlight at this moment, causing confusion and interruption around the world. What we need to realise is that we are a strong country and stand joined together and must carry on.
The Government has gone far to finance wages and take care of organizations big and small through this period. That is the reason the team at CK Architectural have set up at home and have distinguished new ways to communicate with clients without the need for home or site visits, and still providing the same remarkable service.
Our new online design service has been created in view of the client to make the entire procedure as simple and stress free as possible. We can give advice on designs, property assessments and guidance on planning, building regulations and development with no commitment.
Planning applications in Gloucestershire, Stroud, Cheltenham, Tewkesbury and the surrounding areas are still being accepted. Gloucestershire County Council have expressed planning applications will still be acknowledged, validated and decided as usual, as most planning officer and staff have the resources to work from home on secure remote servers.
Building Control applications are still being acknowledged by Gloucestershire County Council and other local authority boards for plan checks and some critical site assessments. We do anticipate that minor sites should stop works, but drawings for building regulations can still be done, submitted to the local authority and checked for when we as a whole can come out to work again.
We will keep on top of all the current applications and will be seeing them through planning and building control as ordinary. Anybody needing some free initial advice should take a look at our new online design service.
We urge everyone to be safe and sensible, stay home and be strict with your social distancing.
